Clare Sisisky is currently the Director of Global Education at the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia where she created the International Emerging Leaders program among several other initiatives. She was previously the director of the Center for Humanities for Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia, worked with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations in Beijing, and was on the faculty at Phillips Academy Andover. Clare has an undergraduate degree from the George Washington University and a graduate degree from Harvard University. Her additional international experiences include a post-graduate fellowship from Harvard in Mauritius spent researching immigration and religion, a Fulbright-Hays summer seminar award in China, participation in the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program through the U.S. State Department in Bangladesh, and working for an education NGO in rural India. Clare has written and presented on many topics relating to global studies in the classroom.
