Religious Literacy and Humanitarian Aid

The Religious Literacy Project is partnering with Oxfam to explore how international non-governmental organizations that are engaged in humanitarian action understand the roles that religions play in local contexts. This five-month preliminary scoping project focuses on a range of secular and faith-based international non-governmental organizations. Our findings will be vetted by academics and representatives of the organizations surveyed, and we will produce a public report in March 2017. This project is funded by the Henry Luce Foundation.
