This November, the Religious Literacy Project partnered with the American Academy of Religion and Boston College to bring a Shared Studios portal to the Boston area, connecting local communities with refugee and internally displaced communities in Iraq, Jordan, and Germany.
The portal at Harvard is one of dozens around the world, connecting diverse sites in the Middle East, Central, South, and North America, South and East Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania. These immersive environments are designed to join strangers across the globe in conversation, as if they are in the same room.
Join portal project founder and creative director Amar Bakshi to learn more about the history and vision of this project.

This conversation will take place by the Harvard portal on Andover Green, in front of Andover Hall, 45 Francis Avenue.
